Winter Solstice Song Circle and Sound Bath
Overview
Come celebrate the longest night of the year with a magical evening of singing and sound healing in our Winter Solstice Song Circle and Sound
Join The People's Echo for a Winter Solstice gathering filled with song, ritual, and a closing sound bath.🎶✨🌙
In a song circle, songs are taught call-and-echo style and are learned in the moment, sometimes with harmony, sometimes without. At our song circles, we welcome all sorts of singers and embrace imperfection—we step outside of societal singing norms, inviting folks to step into discomfort within a supportive singing space.
For this event, we invite you to wear all black or all white—or anything that embodies the solstice energy, honoring both the darkest day of the year and the returning light.
TIMING AND EVENT FLOW:
Our song circle will be held in a ritual container. Please do your best to come on time to be a part of our ritual container setting and magic making.

Rest Rejuvenation Relationships - Retreat Space for BIPOC GBV Survivors & Preventionists
“The labor of liberation is always on the menu for Black, Native, and POC survivors and GBV preventionist... but we must resist putting martydom on a pedestal! We have to invest in the rest our ancestors intend for us.
So, for folks organizing or working to prevent domestic and sexual violence, trafficking, etc. I'm hosting a retreat on Nov. 8th 10am-4pm at the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA.
It's a day of rest, rejuvenation, and relationship building! We'll talk about what we want to put down for a minute, build on our practices for self and collective care, and connect with folks that can offer something to us in our next steps towards liberation from a culture that allows DV, SA, and Transphobia to run wild.
If you have an aunty that everyone goes to, if you support LGBTQIA2S+ programming at a school or workplace or elsewhere, etc. If you have questions about whether or not this is for you, message me.
Please register at the link in my bio and message me if you have any questions! Talk to me if you need a letter for work.
Solidarity, Water, Wind, Earth, and Fire,
Paris 🫡”
